PHS Boys Soccer Played For Conference Championship

     The Varsity boys’ soccer team is ranked sixth in the OSAA rankings. The boys have had a very busy season; they have won 9 out of their 13 games. Their best score this season was 6-0 against Klamath Union.

   The team went against the Mazama Vikings on Monday, October 19th at Mazama’s territory. They came home with a win of 5-0, with the goals coming from Isai Espana (6), Christian Camacho (11), Jesus Sixtos (8), Danny Uribe (10), and Fernando Rodriguez (14). The boys are playing hard to claim back their number one spot in the OSAA rankings.

   The boys’ varsity had senior night on the 22nd of October and played under the lights at the U.S. Cellular Field’s against Henley for conference champs. The boys lost against Henley with a score of 2-1, with Samuel Macias (7) scoring the goal. The boys played their hardest, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. That was the boys’ last league game of the season, however they will be having a playoff game that will be determined at a later time.

   The Junior Varsity team also played Mazama on Monday, October 19th at Mazama. The boys played well and also came back with a win of 5-0 and played a very good game. They also had their last game of the season on the 22nd of October. The boys had a great season and came home with the win against Henley with a score of 4-2. They ended the season with a great win.
