Farewell

June 12th, 2017

The year is about to come to the ending that we have all been waiting for since the beginning. Students will then go through summer and come back next year, but some students are leaving Phoenix for good. Seniors had their last day on the 5th and graduated on the 10th. The rest of the students will be dismissed on the 15th of June.

Although, this is a very happy time for most, it’s also a very sad time for the seniors. They have gone 12 years in school, and some of them may continue school after Phoenix. They’ll be released into the world and become a part of society. They’ll have to make adult choices and have to survive on their own. Well good luck. Although they may be leaving physically they’ll be remembered by the rest of the Phoenix high school students. During their four years they made such a huge impact on the rest of the students here at Phoenix.

Some seniors that will be graduating this year are Ariana Segura and Madelene Marroquin Salazar. Ariana’s biggest accomplishment this year was being able to participate in theater for her first and final year. Advice that she has to the rest of the Phoenix students is not to be shy to try new things. Also go to basketball, football, or a choir concert even though they may seem boring it’ll make the best memories. Madelene’s largest accomplishment this year was being able to go to state for discuss. Her advice to lower class men is to do what you love while you can.

Well congratulations to all the seniors for surviving so many years of education. Congrats on surviving the four rough years known as high school. Thank you for being here and being a role model to all the lower class men. Congratulations to the rest of the students for completing another school year and being one step closer to their senior year. It was a pleasure to write these articles for Phoenix. Until next year pirates, have a safe and fun summer vacation.
