Phoenix wrestling is coming to an end for the 2016 season. Senior night was Tuesday, February 3rd. Phoenix will graduate ten great students and wrestlers. The ten seniors are Cedar King, Zach Atteberry, Jordan Douglas, Skyler Witt, Jessi Daniels, Hunter McAllister, Garrett Truex, William Frazee, Justin Knight, and Trace Vega, all of whom will be missed. Districts will be held at Klamath Union High School on February 10th. The time is still being determined. Come support your Pirates at Districts.   

At the Eagle Point Invitational, the boys took second place. Some highlights of their match was Trace Vega winning over Hidden Valley, with Hidden Valley failing at a time of 2:36.  At the Hidden Valley Invitational Cedar King (Phoenix) won over Brayden Morris (Hidden Valley) in the weight class of 138. Another highlight from the Hidden Valley Invitational was in the 145 weight class Jessi Daniels (Phoenix) took over Brooks Kimball (Hidden Valley).
