On November 24th and 25th, there are student-led conferences for seniors. Tuesday the 24th the doors will be open 1pm-8pm and on Wednesday the 25th from 8am-12am noon in your student’s Advisory classroom. Once a year there are student led conferences in the Fall for seniors only. Freshmen, sophomores, and junior conferences will happen in the Spring, while seniors are preparing for graduation.

Teachers, parents and the student will have a chance to meet one another to talk about school achievements and goals. This conference is part of PHS student’s graduation requirements. It is also a great way to make sure seniors are on the right track in terms of graduation requirements.This is helpful for the seniors to evaluate their performance and encourage them to take responsibility for their learning. It will benefit seniors to develop leadership skills and a sense of pride in their achievements. Seniors will reflect on their academic strengths and weaknesses, explaining the skills they have learned. This senior led conference schedule is better conducted in the Fall, so they are completely prepared for graduation.

Parents with students in other grade levels are welcome to come by PHS, to meet with teachers about grades, assignment, or help for their student. After conferences, we have Thanksgiving break. For any further information or questions call PHS office.
