Time sure does fly by. Spring break is just a week away. This will be our last break before the long haul till summer vacation. Spring break starts the 22nd and school resumes on April 3rd. Twelve days of vacation from school and not needing to wake up early to catch the bus.

Twelve days of not having to go to school. What else can a student do? Well if you’re the group of students that go on family trips then good for you. You have something to do this break. If you’re part of the larger group of students that signed up for the Greece trip with art, well that’s even better. If you’re leaving the state for a trip I hope you have a lot of fun.

Now if you are just like me and not traveling during spring break. Well you’re in luck, I have some ideas about things you can do during spring break. Now you don’t have to use these ideas they’re just suggestions of what you can do during the twelve days of spring break.

My first suggestions about spring break is to hang out with your family some way or somehow. You can play board games, or a group video game. Compete to see who’s the best family member at board games. If you don’t have board games or video game consoles, you can always do something outside. Play a sport with your siblings or parents. Have a family barbecue. Go to family fun center, the place even has family in it’s name.

If your parents or sibling aren’t available during this time do to work or some other issue. You can also go and hang out with your friends. There are so many possibilities with this idea. Friends make anything boring an entertaining activity. You can go against each other in sports, or a game of laser tag. You can spend time together in the park or by hanging out at the mall. Another option is to head to someone’s house and have a movie or tv show marathon. Friends will be there and they’ll make everything great.

Now if your family and friends are both busy during spring break than there are some activities that you can do by yourself. Some suggestions for things you can do alone, is cook, play a video game, create a masterpiece. Another idea is to write a book about a certain topic that has been on your mind. You can go on a walk. You can also clean the house, or you’re room more specifically. Unless you’re a student who has Mrs. Johnson, and you haven’t done you’re rhetorical terms paper then this a great time to finish that up, or any other assignment that you have placed aside.

Well I hope these suggestions helped inspire you into doing something this spring break. They could have also helped you think or your own ideas for this upcoming spring break. Whatever you do this spring break I hope you have a great and safe spring break. Don’t forget that school starts the 3rd of April. See you then.
