Nicoletta Dinelli is a senior this year at PHS and she knows another language besides English. She is bilingual because she knows Italian and Spanish. Nicoletta also participates in Speech and Debate and 8 more extracurricular s. Also, we have heard she has applied for Harvard University and other big schools, some in Oregon and some on the East coast. To find out more about Nicoletta Dinelli, we asked her a few questions about being bilingual and what schools she has been trying to get into, apply for and her life after high school.

Nicoletta isn’t participating in sports but she is or was involved in nine extracurricular clubs. Such as, Speech and Debate, Peer Mediation, Brainbowl, Band, Scavenger Hunt, Math Team and Relay for Life later in the year, along with two others. Nicoletta’s hobbies include painting and art. She said she really likes to paint. She also, lived in Italy for six and a half years when she was younger. So she is bilingual. She knows Italian and also, Spanish because she took Spanish for three years at Phoenix High School.

Nicoletta says that she wants to major in Environmental Studies and work with a non-profit charity organization. Preferably focusing in Environmental Issues. We asked her “are you planning to travel for college or university?” She said it all depends on where she goes because she has applied for schools everywhere, some in Oregon most in other places.

We all wish Nicoletta the best with what she is planning to do after high school and hopefully she gets accepted to a college she wants to go to.
