Lights up on Washington Heights

In the Heights is a musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda that takes place in the time span of three days with the lives of people who live in the neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City.

With the musical approaching us with their first performance happening in April, the cast has already announced and have started rehearsing. The play will begin their performance on April 27-29 at 7:00 and May 4-6 at 7:00 in the Rose Theatre.

The cast was announced some time ago and these are the people that are going to be performing for us when the time arrives.

Trevor Ullrich will play the lead role of Usnavi

Tahiz Perezchica will play Vanessa

Jazmine Mathis plays Nina Rosario

Kim Kinney is playing Benny

Nathaniel Morales plays Sonny

Miss. Wright plays Abuela Claudia

Ana Para is playing Daniela

Felicity Kountz is playing Carla

Ariana Segura plays Camila Rosario

Sagean Stoker plays Kevin Rosario

Yasmin Conchas plays Graffiti Pete

Megan Forsyth plays the Piragua Guy

And Emily Weaver, Makenzie Hughes, Hayley Harrison, Kyle Cottrell, Bree Jones and Bailey Cory as Ensemble.  

The cast has been working since February to make this play for everyone to enjoy. The cast would stay after school and rehearse for many hours to perfect their part. So come to the play and enjoy show.
