Phoenix High’s performing arts teacher, Ms. Brown, has decided to put together the perfect cast to celebrate thirty-nine years of the record breaking musical, Grease, here in the Rose St. Theater. Jennifer Schloming is the music director who has also been in charge of several other plays, including some at the Jacksonville Britt, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and even other plays all over California. The choreography is created and taught by Joey Larimer, a former Phoenix High School student. Joey was also the conductor for the Phoenix Marching Band and participated in school plays including Urine Town. Ms. Brown has also recruited Jeff Rhoades and Kelly Singleton, current PHS teachers, to complete the final touches to the cast.

Singing auditions took place Monday and Tuesday, the first week of February, and the dance auditions took place the following Wednesday.
